Welcome to my website. Hopefully it is easy enough to navigate, so please stay a bit, have a look at some of my work and  comment if you see fit. Thanks for stopping by.

Although I like to think that many things are available to keep me busy, the ones that I hope may interest you are painting in watercolour and writing the odd poem or short story. 'Odd' being I think, the operative word here. The rest of the stuff I will keep to myself until the demand for it overwhelms me.


It certainly will take some time for me to refine this, and I hope to update it regularly and make it a whole lot easier as I learn. Until then, thanks for stopping by.

What's New?


Since I was last here, have been to England to visit the village where my father was born, and to see some watercolour friends from Wetcanvas; have been to Vancouver, Kansas, Indiana (to say goodbye to a dear friend) and New York City.


I joined the Board of Directors for the Visual Arts Centre of Clarington, in the summer of 2006


I have been invited to show my work at the Municipality of Clarington Administrative Centre’s  Artists Showcase from Ocober 2 – December 28, 2007. 


Currently involved in a semi official ‘You Paint, I Write’ challenge with a brilliantly nimble artist from Long Island, N.Y., Tina Witt, for which the rules change daily.
